LR Baggs VIO Violin Pickup with External Jack Mount

Bring out the rich, natural tones of your violin with the LR Baggs VIO Violin Pickup, now available at Irvine Art and Music. This innovative pickup features a miniature vibration sensor expertly cast into a Superieur Despiau “Two Tree” maple bridge, ensuring maximum sensitivity and seamless signal transfer. With its high-precision design, this pickup captures your instrument’s full dynamics by responding to the left-right motion of the bridge, created by the string vibrations. By filtering out unwanted body noise, finger squeaks, and feedback, the VIO Pickup delivers clear, professional-grade sound perfect for live performances and studio sessions alike.

This LR Baggs pickup provides even string-to-string balance, giving every note a balanced and rich quality, making it the preferred choice for renowned violinists like Mark O’Connor and Jean-Luc Ponty. Installation is easy with the external jack mount, which provides flexibility without altering the instrument. For optimal performance, an external preamp is recommended.
